Walking street –Mae Hongsorn

         Moohin rented motorcycle and riding to the center of the city at  Wat Jongkum.

Walking street near Wat Nong Jongkun open around 6 o’clock until around 10 o’clock in the evening. We can see many people including Long Neck Karen.

          Visitors to Mae Hongsorn mostly pay homage to Wat Jongkum which is in the city on the natural pond, it said the pond stay with the city since the beginning of the Mae Hongsorn.

          Wat Jongkum was built in BE.2370 using the Thai Yhai style, build as a palace as it is the believe in the palace of the Buddha. There is a big Buddha statue decorated in gold and named as Jongkum meaning the gold plated.

We showed you the night market with many walkers. Surprise to see the original Long Neck Karen walking to shop, and many of them are from the village.
